Mid Limit Tourney Options during WSOP
I will be in Vegas this weekend and want to play a ~$500 tournament. What are my best options? I know of the 2nd chance tourneys at the WSOP, but who else has them going on? Please don't refer me to allvegaspoker.com, I already checked there and only the Wynn is mentioned for Friday.
Thanks. |

Re: Mid Limit Tourney Options during WSOP
There are few choices
Bellagio $1060 is above your price range. Venetian $180 and Caesars $220 are below. Mirage has a 5pm Sunday tourney scheduled but I dunno if they are getting it to run. They've been having a lotta trouble getting tourney turnout. They also CLAIM to have a 1pm Saturday tourney but last I asked a couple weeks ago they hadn't gotten a single 1pm tourney to go since the WPT at Mirage. The Orleans Open is supposedly going on. No clue if the tourneys are getting any players. They have a $330 limit scheduled for Friday, $330 O8/b for Saturday and $540 NLHE for Sunday. http://www.orleanscasino.com/gaming/...eans-open.html Everything else I can think of is <$180. |

Re: Mid Limit Tourney Options during WSOP
Thanks. That's about what I thought, but wanted to know if there were any unadvertised events. Unless i single table into the friday 2500, I'll be doing the 330 limit at orleans, and a $540 WSOP. I know the $540 Orleans Sunday is planned to be a multi-day event, which makes it a no-go for me.
I like the mirage tourneys, so I might check out sunday 5pm for that. Last year during wsop, they had no problem filling up. |

Re: Mid Limit Tourney Options during WSOP
Check out the Wynn too. They have a $300 (tues.,wed., thurs.)and a $500 (fri.)tourney that has a pretty good structure for a mid-buy in tourney. Not sure whether or not they will be running them during the WSOP though.
