Default AQs on a dangerous board.....

First hand of a $20/180, so no reads on my opponent.
I made my standard c-bet on the flop, but the river is where it gets interesting.
I almost folded, but didn’t think he would play a made flush like this.

What’s you’re play here?

I wouldn't raise 5xBB UTG with AQs in level 1. I wouldn't cbet that flop.

No reason to bloat the pot PF. Std raise it to 60. Once you hit the Q I think you need to let this go. You don't have a club, which means if you are behind you have to hit a 2 outer to win and how often do you think you're ahead w/ TPTK when someone check called on the flop and leads the turn w/ a pair on the board?

Also, don't post the J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], it has nothing to do with the decisions made.

Preflop raise to 60.

Flop check behind.

That way the pot is manageable on the turn and you won't end up all-in on the first hand on the turn with TPTK.

I see...c-betting too many flops after I raise PF might be a leak in my game.
