WSOP SATT.............REDEMPTION!

Last week i played 3 SATTs at the WSOP.I came in 2nd twice and 3rd once. I played well but, just got unlucky in a few critical races three handed. Last night i made a convincing win and got my mojo back!
I do have a couple of questions> I picked up AKs in 3rd position blinds 100 200 i raised to 400 , SB a known raiser makes it 600.I push for the rest of my stack,another 800 because i have seen him raise with small pairs. He calls and shows pckt 10s. I catch a and k and cripple him. I might not have made this play half way through a long tourney,but since a satt only pays 1st i was willing to gamble.Was my play correct or could i have picked a better spot? Although it did work out. Thanks

you should have pushed on your first action. after the raise its an obvious push.

dont worry about "picking a better spot" basically ever, but certainly not with 6xBB.

ummm actually just do a bunch of reading in the STT forum one afternoon if you're going to be playing more of these.

You've got 1200 in chips and just miniraise with AKs? No, the play was not correct. As the others already said, PUSH!

You played like crap and need to really work on your game a lot if you're going to stand any chance against pros in the WSOP.
