Default Sleep Position Poll

(Please note: used search function going back 4 months on this, couldn't find anything similar)

I am fairly obsessed with sleep-related writing. Tonight, I was reading an article that surprised me greatly: that the most popular sleep position is on a person's side. Personally, I've never been able to sleep that way; in fact if I want to force myself to get up I roll onto my side for that purpose.

I have to assume that females (breasticles) are a big factor in that poll. In fact most of my ex-GFs have preferred to sleep on their side. So this will skew the poll results.

With women out of the way (this is OOT, after all...), I want to ask honestly, what is your preferred sleep position? FWIW I fall asleep ONLY on my stomach in my bed, but on my back on one of my couches regularly, before moving to my bed. I don't count that; the couch is damned comfy and like the furniture equivalent of Ny-Quil.

Thanks for your input.

Stomach. I can't fall asleep in any other position unless I'm drunk.

This is probably hard to visualize, but I can't fall asleep unless i'm laying on my stomach, with one pillow between my legs, another elevating my right leg, and one halfway stuck under my chest/stomach on the right side.

I sleep on my side and was happy to hear that it is the best position for your back as well. In my encounters with my many roomates, on the back sleepers tend to be snorers.
