Default ML Digest for July 2, 2006

A 2+2 table gives a number of good links this fortnight.

As a reminder, the bulk of this digest is made of submissions by you, the Micro-Limits poster/reader/mod/troll/gimmick/Washington State Investigations Officer. You can see the threads posted this week by doing a forum search, selecting Micro LImits and using a subject line of "-Re:". If you want to send me a link, theres a few ways we can do this and the choice is yours:

[*]PM'ing me[*]posting in this thread[*]emailing them to . Be sure to let me know your username if you do so.[/list]
Please don't AIM me your submissions as it's hard to keep track of things that way. As you know, Wookie tallies up the submissions (submitters and submitees) into a drawing for an autographed photo of Hunter S. Thompson's ashes, so vote early and vote often.

Well I gave the digest a week to simmer to let the links accumulate, and I think it's just about ready. Here's the fortnight's highlights:

A different preflop quiz by Aaron W. How to lose the most money possible. Submitted by Hielko.

An interesting line Buzz just told me about by Str8Fish. Your weekly free card play reminder. Submitted by Hielko.

Interesting hand that I liked, 1/2 FR by bravos1. Raising JTs preflop after several limpers, along with an interesting turn decision. Submitted by tyler_cracker.

ATo, a playalong for newbies by benihana. Who cannot hit a flop with a bazooka, but that don't phase him none. Submitted by HouseCalls.

Big pot, lots of paint. Very spewful. by Yossarian147. Me like hand, me raise, dinosaur macro et cetera. Submitted by HouseCalls.

A New Challenge: Selfe Defense. by nomadtla. Rather than just throwing up your arms and posting a thread for help, why not try to explain why you raised 72o UTG? A call to arms, submitted by HouseCalls.

The next three were submitted by someone who emailed me without letting me know who they are here, so I had to guess as to who submitted them.

Want to play with some numbers? by DavidC. For the newbies: Bayesian analysis and outs counting. Submitted by Washington State Governor Christine Gregorie.

The Bluffing Thread by GrandmaStabone. This link leads to porn so whatever you do don't click it. Submitted by Washington Secretary of State Sam Reed.

15BB Challenges by bozlax. I'm doing one RIGHT NOW AS I'M COMPILING THIS, currently stuck in .10/.20 hell. Submitted by Washington Attorney General Rob McKenna.

2+2 Table Hands

Hand from the 2+2 Table by MrWookie. Two potential set-killers: a straight and an overabundance of lag. Some Bayesian analysis thrown in for good measure. Submitted by tyler_cracker and HouseCalls.

AQ makes 2 pair on worst board ever by Xhad. Learn to turn better, noob. Submitted by HouseCalls.

Yet another 2+2 table question by Jaran. Preflop 99 when it's three to you? Well we all know what I'd do here. Submitted by HouseCalls.

Bumped post of the week: On Downswings.

Yes, it is. In fact, it's actually time for the drawing. I'll post the final scores from this quarter later today.
