Hard to say without a read, and without suits, but you should have bet much more with top two. I'd make it a pot-sized bet. A flopped two pair doesn't always hold up. If your villain is drawing to the straight you gave him great odds to call on the flop.

I would lead turn for 2/3 pot and fold to a raise.

If he calls, check river and play poker.

Yeah, I hate 2-pair with connectors because the next card is so often going to look like a straight, and it's hard to get away from.

Bet the pot on the flop, lead the turn... from there it just depends on villain and how you feel about the hand. If he has QT then you may not be able to avoid loosing some chips here.

was it rainbow flop or not? did the flush draw ever get there?

bet pot on flop, bet 2/3 pot on turn

I personally recommend that you step down in limits until you figure out what you're doing! 100nl is steep for a beginner.

as for the hand, it seems like you were afraid of the straight on the turn, which is what made you check (it'd help if you elaborated on your thought process). however if you give your opponent a free card here, you're giving him infinite odds to chase anything! put in a 2/3 pot bet here, and perhaps fold to a raise depending on how aggressive he normally is.
