Default Pocket 8\'s Four handed..Did I make the correct decision?

Here's the situation....

4 handed home game, 1st pays $220, 2nd pays $100. I am second in chips with about 8,000 and level is $150/$300.

CO ($800 chips) is a lagtard and Button ($6500)is a solid player.

I am UTG with 88 and make it $900 to go. CO moves in for less, and Button moves in.

What's the correct decision to make here? I am not sure it is so clear cut...

If button is a solid player, you are at best a race, let him take out the shortie and then beat the other shortie to get ITM. Very easy fold.
