Default stars beta notes

I posted in the zoo thread about this and have sent stars support an email.

It's probably not a big deal but if your using the stars beta any player notes you've taken are not being written to the main client folder. Just be careful that you don't lose any notes you've taken.

I noticed this the night I set up Stars Beta. Either copy the "notes.txt" from the old Stars folder to the Stars Beta folder. Or imprt your notes to PT from the old folder then change all the folders PT links to and export the notes back to the Beta folder.

I figure you (Trainslayer) know all this. I'm just puting it out there for anyone who reads this post and says WTF how do I get the notes to change. Be sure you set all your PT Imports/Auto-Imports/Exports to properly account for the change in folder name since your Beta hands are sent to the Beta folder too.

What I did:

1. open notes.txt in PokerStars folder
2. open notes.txt in PokerStarsBeta folder
3. copy text from beta file
4. paste to end of main file
5. save main file
6. copy main file to beta folder
7. point pokertracker import/export player notes to the beta folder.

anyone know a quick way to check if you have any duplicate players? e.g. I have an old note on Bob that "he donked AAB" flop, and another note in beta, "awesome". There are so many names i'm too lazy to check. Wonder if it would crash or whatever.

i would suggest making a backup of your files before comboing them.

stars support can probably tell you. my beta file didn't have but about 15 names in it and i don't think there were any dups but i haven't had any problems yet.
