Why the Hell Is PokerRoom Software So Resource Intensive?
PokerRoom eats my computer resources (especially with PT). If this wasn't the case I'd play there so much more often. Any info to fix this?

Im not the computer wiz, far from it. I suggest covering your computer in capers and garlic. I really doubt PokerRoom will eat anything within ten feet of your computer or its resources once you do that.
In all seriousness, go to your task manager and click on processes. Find the ptrack2.exe and right click now on set priority click Below Normal. Do the same with any programs that take up a lot of room ie. GT+ etc. Now make sure you arent auto rating when you import hand histories, and set your import timer on PT to 5 min. This prevents too many hands at once or too many imports too often. I 4 to 6 table fine at PP with PT, PokerAce HUD and iTunes and have no problems, usually. |

You have over 5k posts. You probably know all of that. Try lowering the priority on PokerRoom in the task manager. It should still run fine.

I takes a lot of CPU power to create all those bugs, crashes, lag, and error messages.
