Default getting min checkraised on the river?!

I just sat down and no stats/reads on the villain yet. River made me happy and I was trying to get a call from the villain but then I got totally confused by this min checkraise. Should I call or fold this or even push more?

Call here. Very good chance you're chopping, some chance of KJ or even 54, some chance of a slowplayed lower 2p or set.

Well, I am not folding. Question is, do you think he has a set/straight here?

I dont think KJ would call those bets and I dont think he has AA or QQ. Could be the same hand or a worse 2pair like QT, or a sneaky set.

Any raise is effectively a push but I dont think it makes muh of a difference in EV

welcome, Jehi, nice first post.

do not reraise, you're just spewing to hands that beat you most of the time. you want to showdown your hand now. so call.

thanks los toros. Having worst downswing of my short poker career so I figured maybe I need some critisism on how I play these hands . On the turn I thought villain has pair of aces or something but turn made me think that he even might have called QT or something as Q seemed to help his case. If he had set he would have minraised on the turn prolly. I ended up just calling this.

I wouldn't push. I don't think very many (if any) hands that you beat call a push. I wouldn't fold either getting around 5:1 against an unknown. So that leaves calling as your best play. I would say villain has KJ (in which case he is instantly on your buddy list), a smaller 2pair, or a set. I wish I knew what %s to give those hands.

i think it is just a call here, i hate the min-raise and if you raise this must be a case of only a better hand calling you.

I would call, but I think this board is 0 for 10,000 lifetime in this spot... min raise on the river is almost always the nuts.
Once the discussion dies down, please post the results especially if you won. I would like to add a win into this column.

Doesn't this look like either a chop, AAA or QQQ?
