Default SIT and GO [single table tournament] Strategy Books

I've been searching the forums and unable to find any books that are focused on these strategies.

I've read PL&NLH and frankly was quite disappointed with their material on SNGs.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately there are not any books strickly geared towards Sngs. You might want to pick up Ed Millers Getting Started in Holdem, Harrington's Books esp. V2, and Kill Phil.

I will let you in on a secret.

There are no sng books worth mentioning ... but there is a STT forum here on 2+2, it contains all the information that you will need to beat sngs senseless

Start with the FAQ there

Daugherty and McEvoy have one but I don't know how good it is. Here is a link:

That is not a SnG book, and it is not a very good satellite book.

What about Online Ace? Probably an elementary book but I know it sticks mostly to online Sit N gos.

There are a couple chapters on SnG's in Ciaffone's "Improve Your Poker"

There is not that much information about SnG's that should warrant writing a large book on the subject.

lee jones book has a section at the end on SNG's....

lots of advice on internet. pretty standard stuff (very patient early, then loosen up some. look to steal some blinds (often playing your opponent more than your own cards). standard (but great) advice of preferring to be aggressor to calling raises.

i do not think harrington books are that applicable to SNG's. i think he's used to much longer rounds, larger # of opponents and alot more fold/"first in" equity (i may start a thread on this, seems like there's alot less fold equity in smaller tourneys against worse players)
