Superman
What type of opening weekend will this have? (I assume opening weekend does not extend until Mon/Tues. - correct?)
W/ the list being Spiderman: 114M Star Wars: Ep. III: 108M Shrek 2: 108M X3: 103M it seems that Superman could get v. close to Spiderman - will it surpass it? Also there were a few other movies out when X3 was released, if I remember correctly, and there's not much now. This will be huge. Cliffs: Superman will make a lot of money. |

Why are comic book movies so popular? [/ QUOTE ] Huge built-in fanbase. It's a little different with Superman since it's already been done, but the principle applies. Also, they tend to be special effects extravaganzas, which always draws. |

I think it's because comic book movies remind us of when we were kids. |

Ish: $109,000,000 is my guess. [/ QUOTE ] I think this is an okay guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if it went a little higher. There's gotta be 6M+ Kevin Spacey diehards out there. |
