This needs to be moved to the NL small stakes part of the forum.

Were you playing live for the game to be in £ ?

Anyway, I dont like UTG's feeler bets. I dont think that you can give him credit for a set with those small bets, and you dont want to allow him to draw out on you cheaply.

I would have made a slightly bigger flop bet of say £7.50, and then put him all-in on the turn. I think that most of the time, you would have the best hand.

Oh, sorry about the wrong posting (great start at the forum...). Could the moderator please move my post, or should I repost?

Thanks for answering anyway. I play online with £ on William Hill poker.
So raise 1.25-7.50£ on the flop and push the turn? What scares me is that some people holding sets tend to bet into me to provoke that big reraise. I lost my stack the day before with AA in a similar situation.

I suppose it comes down to trying to get a read on how your opponents like to play.

I would not want to allow my opponent to draw cheaply on this board if he had a hand like A5s or say 55.

By making a bigger flop raise, you would be making it more expensive for your opponent to call if he was drawing.

You would also hopefully get a better idea of the strength of his hand if he called.

I would probably still have pushed on the turn and lost a lot of chips.

But, sometimes its difficult to get away from losing a lot of chips with a decent hand. My understanding is that usually you will either win a small pot with AA or KK, or else you will lose a big pot !

Hopefully, that will be compensated for by the times you win.
