Default San Diego, what\'s the nearest poker hotspot?

i'll be in san diego july 19-24 and wanted to play a little bit of cards while i'm there, preferably 8-16 or 15-30. i'll be staying around the mission hills area. any help appreciated.

There's a couple of options, but not many. Oceans Eleven is about 35 mi north of town on the 5 (Mission Ave exit). I've played in their 8/16 several times, and it's quite soft. There's a place called the Village in Chula Vista; I believe they often spread an 8/16 although I've never played it.

There's some other cardrooms in the area (Viejas, Sycuan), but in my experience their biggest round-the-clock games are 4/8...maybe a little bigger on weekends, but hit-and-miss.

I think your best bet is Oceans Eleven.
