Default Was this right play?

Let me begin by saying I play alot of o8, but very little plo. I played last weekend in the Scotty Nguyen Open in Tulsa. The tourney was PLO $500 + rebuys. There were 12 left, the final tanle got paid. I and the other guy in the pot were medium stacks. I was big blind called a raise of my blind from 1000 to 2000. I held 6,10,j,q rainbow the flop came 6,8,9, with 2 clubs. I bet $4000, my total chip count was in the neighborhood of 18,000, other guy pushes all in with same amount of chips. Do you call? This decision has been heavy on my mind for a week. Sorry I dont know how to use the icons to show suits, but some of you more experienced guys please give me some input.

I would call instantly, you have a lot of outs even if he has the nuts at the moment, and the pot has got very big. But I would prefer to check the flop, let him bet, and check raise all in. If he checks behind, that's fine too.

Your first mistake was calling a raise with 6,10,J,Q,rainbow. I dont care how small the raise was, in omaha, you want to play hands like 4 in a row, suited connectors, and high pairs. I would not put my tournament like at risk with a straight draw, maybe if u had a straight draw and flush draw, but you didn't, so I would fold.

It was a minraise and he had already paid the BB that hand, so it's $1000 more into at least a $3000 pot. I'd see a flop for that much with that hand.
