Default NL$2 FR - Jacks in BB facing two raises

i felt extremely uncomfortable with this situation. what does everyone else do here, especially pf? can anyone muck? i was actually considering it but i couldnt bring myself to do it. pushing seems bad too, as we may be up against a higher pair. what about the flop, easy c/f or is a cbet okay? (yeah i know my cbet was way too small)

Preflop is tough. I don't think I could bring myself to fold, but it's a close one. Push: hell no.

It's only a c-bet if you're the preflop raiser. I'd say you have about, oh, zero fold equity here. Seems like an easy check/fold.

Thinking out loud: I think I'd only get to showdown here if I hit a set. That doesn't seem like enough of a shot to call. So maybe preflop should be a fold. Then again, implied odds are huge here. A triple is likely if you do hit it.

So yeah, I'm unsure about preflop too. Experts, please...

Your jacks long to be free, running in meadows of daisies in glorious sunshine. Push your stack in the middle preflop and exhibit to the villians the masterpiece of Jacks by Jakerc.

anyone else? i see two lines really here (other than fold, which i think isnt bad either)

1) call and play for set value, c/f if missed
2) call and pretend they are aces on a fairly safe ragged flop - one without a Q, K, or A, and try to get the money in.

my problems are, with the first line, i'm not exactly sure about the math. do we have the implied odds to make the call playing for strictly set value? i assume it's close either way. with the second line, this assumes that no one else has a higher PP. i'm not sure if this is a safe assumption, since there was a raise and a reraise PF. and folding also seems a bit weak. i'm leaning towards line1, what do you guys think?

5/10 rule would tell you to dump this as it is more than 10% of your stack.

You are 7.5:1 against to hit your set. Assuming you stack two players if you hit is unreasonable. Stack one player with some dead money and you are borderline.

MP2 did a good job of pricing you out. Any call preflop is quite loose and definately in the 'reads based' category.
