Default Play to make the money, or play to get back into the hunt?

$10.00, 27 player S&G.
6 left, 5 make money.

Blinds are 200/400 +25 ante.

My M is only 4, but UTG has only 460 in chips.

UTG = (460 in chips) FOLDS
ME (3340 in chips) Ad Ks --- What do I do?
3rd pos. (1095 in chips)
Button (17970 in chips)
SB(13945 in chips)
BB(3690 in chips)

My hand is Ad Ks What do I do here?

Seems like a standard raise to me...whatever you've been raising. If you don't have a standard raise, then I'd say go 3xBB.

My “standard” raise has been all in or fold lately. I was at an M of 2 and 3 and have built up a little by stealing blinds & ante’s. But the dynamics of the table have changed dramatically. UTG just took a very bad beat from the BB and now will virtually be all in on the next hand.
I’m not yet disagreeing with your play... Just giving more info.
Is raising 3XBB, leaving only 2140 and likely playing OOP really the best play here?

I'd just push.
If you raise any amount, you're getting it all in anyway.

Poooooosh if you're going to raise at all, because if they come back over top you have to call anyway.

Just push it! You cannot play for survival in any tourney...you need to play to win. For example, would you rather just sneak into the money and win $18, or accumulate enough chips to win it all, which pays $100?
