What's the deal with "Drunk-Dialers?"

Why do people think that this is a good idea? I mean, maybe in high school, I thought it was funny--"Oh man, dude I'm so [censored] drunk, there's so many hot chicks here, you're a btch for not coming out, etc.--but now it's just [censored] annoying. Does anyone actually think that this is funny?

Here's a typical conversation from a drunk dbag friend:

Miguel-Hello
Dbag-- Mike, you're a vagina!
Miguel-- Oh hey...Mark
Dbag--You're a Vagina! Vagina!

And it's even worse when people call girls. They end up saying the stupidest [censored]--"What color underwear are you wearing?"--how do people not learn that this is a bad idea? It never works out well.

Thoughts on drunk-dialers? Are any of you still entertained by seeing/hearing your friends at like morons?

I mean, I guess sometimes it's hilarious when a friend acts like a jackass; but hearing it on the phone just irritates me.

I know in the past when I ahve been at a party and I drunk-dial another guy friend it is because I am not having a good time at the party.

I also HATE IT when people have to pump it into your brain that they drank 5 shots before they came over or something else stupid that proves how drunk they are, or how drunk they are going to get...I mean if you are a freshman, that is one thing because some people didnt drink in HS, but I know people who graduated this past year who still do [censored].

What is your problem with calling girls for a hook up who you know would be ready and willing?

In terms of drunk-dialing girls, I have no problem w/ that if you're trying to hook-up. Whatever, the best of luck to you. But at least be smart about it. Even when I'm really drunk, I know not to say certain things; like, i feel like it's almost never a good idea to ask about a girl's underwear. if that has ever worked for someone, trip report, plz.
