Hand vs LAG in maniac mode
Villain/UTG is 55/41/3 after 200 hands. I had 100 hands on him before sitting down in this game and his stats over those first 100 were 40/20/1.5, so he's really been going overboard at the time this hand comes up. A few hands earlier he cold capped K9o.

Re: Hand vs LAG in maniac mode
I would check/call the river. Even LAGs have the goods sometimes. There is very little chance he's checking through this river with a hand he would have called a riverbet with imo.

Re: Hand vs LAG in maniac mode
i would also c/c the river, but i certainly don't hate donking it. 4-5 big bets is about what i like to see go in with TPTK against a total maniac.

Re: Hand vs LAG in maniac mode
Preflop: I like it.
Flop: First off, something's wrong with your converter. There should be 13 bets in the pot, not 11.5. That said, I think you played this nicely. With the steamer to your left likely to raise there's a good chance of driving out the third player. Turn: I like this street as well. River: I'd rather just check/call here. If the steamer has total crap he might fold to your bet, but attempt to bluff if you check to him. If he has what he's representing, then you lose an extra bet this way. If he has something in the middle, he'll likely bet if checked to but just call your river bet. Sometimes he'll raise with a worse hand, but I think overall check/calling in this spot is far more profitable. Just my opinion. |
