Hey folks,
I just got a two monitor setup this month and am 8tabling for the first time. After 2 hours or so I notice that everything seems too fast and crazy to me and I cant concentrate anymore - and I always stop there, this I dont like poker anyway. However it is important for getting in the hours to play some longer sessions. Any advice on how to get better at playing long sessions? |

If you don't like poker anyway, why are you playing?

You said this was your first time playing 8 tables; how many were you playing before? Learning something new takes more concetration, and you will tire out faster, so advice #1 is to get more experience. Other than that, eat well, excercise well, sleep well, and drink plenty of water. Last piece of advice is to take breaks when you play. Just because you get tired after 2 hours, it doesn't mean that you can't play another 2 hours later in the day.

8 tabling is a pretty strenuous activity on the brain and concentration levels.
take a break every hour or so if you want to do one long session. or like a previous replier mentioned, take a break after that two hour session where you lose concentration, and then come back after a little relaxation. go watch some TV, take a walk, do something that doesnt take a lot of brain power. (i usually take a shower, that seems to work for me.) |

Drugs.
Seriously, take breaks or play less tables. |
