Default China Town Las Vegas?

I heard something about a proposed china town in Las Vegas? Do anyone in here know anything about the proposed plans for casinos or existing properties/markets?

I wish I had some reference links but I'm only going off of what I have heard.

There has been discussion of this but it has not gotten far. My understanding is that they want to dress up a part of the city that already has several Asian businesses. There is a Chinatown Plaza that is pretty much in the center of the Asian section of town. That seems to be the extent of what we have already.

Someone did some sketches (again, sorry for no links if they even are online) but it looks as if they simply want to dress up the neighborhood to give it an Asian feel at little cost.

I would expect nothing additional in the way of gaming beyond the numerous bars with video poker. This section of town is several blocks away from the Strip and with all the current development in better locations, gaming probably wouldn't work so well here.

What do you consider good?

China Grill at Mandalay is a wonderful restaurant, though it is a bit on the pricey side.

I thought there already was a China town in the Valley View/ Spring Mountain area just west of the strip.

I have no idea wtf is wrong with you all the sudden, but I posted my view on the topic, that was all. Isn't your post like the pot calling the kettle black on this one? I thought we were all good, you and me, but I guess not. Like I said before, we can discuss things like gentlemen. No need to play games on an internet forum.
