Flopped straight, backdoored a boat -.10/.25
I'm playing very aggresive preflop, raising many hands, but postflop I'm picking my spots. So I'm not being a complete LAG. The villain in this hand is a total donk, but I'm pretty sure he flopped a set. Only one hand is beating me now, but I can't say whether or not villain would likely have raised AA or not. So should I value bet, or checkraise with the 2nd nuts?

I like a bet of $10. Bottom sets will probably be calling.

I like a c/r. This guy will never ever fold a full house, so you should be happy to get it all in and not worry much about AA. Betting $10 is quite bad because he will pay you off just as readily for $15.
I think he will almost always bet if you check, almost always call a c/r with any full house, and will rarely raise you with a worse hand if you bet. |

Re: Flopped straight, backdoored a boat -.10/.25
So your opponent is a donk, but how aggressive is he? Is he scared of you? Why do you think he flopped a set?
If he's aggressive enough to bet and you're really sure he has a set then I like a c/r. But I'm not sure why you put him on a set, looks like he could also have two pair, ace with a low str8 draw, maybe a picked up flush draw, or another str8. Against a loose passive opponent who could have a wider range, I like a river bet better than c/r. |

Just pot it. You are getting paid by straights and weaker sets. Value bets are rarely called by lesser hands here. You are not folding so don't worry about AA. A PSB is best for the hand and for metagame if you are called.

I assume he means it's good if villain folds.
