Default Sklansky\'s Books in relation to Table limits.

Since most of the people who read these posts on 2+2 have read at least one of David's book and play poker. If you understand and know how to apply most if not everything that David have taught in his books (TOP, NLHTP,HPFAP etc) what table limit should you expect to make a profit in?? 5/10? 10/20? 20/40? 40/80??? Any comment or advice will be most helpful.

These books should help you to some extent at any limit but what you really need is a lot of experience. Start at the lowest stakes and move up to the next if you have played at least 10k hands and made good money.

The introduction to HEPFAP states "...the following strategies are designed for medium limit games, that is $10-$20 hold 'em up to (and including) $40-$80 hold 'em." That's from a July 2003 printing. TOP basically applies to any level because it teaches you how to think rather than how to play.

Keep in mind, this is referring to live games. 40/80 live is probably softer than 5/10 at most sites.
