Some Textbook folds....
Both hands are sans read (both cases they just sat down). I am trying to correct a big leak of calling in small pots when I am certain I am beat. Discuss.

Re: Some Textbook folds....
Hand one.
flop check not good. Turn raise not good. Turn is wa/wb. Just call down. perhaps raise river. Hand two Wow you hate money. How long have you been in the 10/20 SH? |

Re: Some Textbook folds....
Hand 1 - Against unknowns, bet the flop.
Hand 2 - I can't fold this. |

Re: Some Textbook folds....
Hand one, if I were BB I'd 3-bet my bluff for sure, since I'd be thinking surely he can't have an ace, he didn't bet the flop. Hope that answers both questions

Re: Some Textbook folds....
Bet the flop in hand 1. Given that you didn't, just call down and bet if checked to.
Hand 2. I call down. |

Re: Some Textbook folds....
Considering that you raise-folded the first hand with top pair okay kicker, why would you immediately fold to the exact same raise in the second hand. You are getting 3-1 on a call down and nothing about their play suggests the guy doesn't have Ac6c - or even ATo.
Your thinking in these two hands seems mixed-up... |
