We are playing live 1/2 NL 10 handed
Villian1 hasn't done anything noteable so I have no good information on him other than he isn't a complete idiot. Villian2 is very LAG. He bets a lot! He is a good player though and has a lot of experience. He makes a lot of moves I have a very tight table image. Villian1 - 175 Villian2 - 175 Hero - 300 I am BB with 8 :diamonds: 7 :diamonds: folds Villian1 raises to $11 folds Villian2 calls folds Hero calls flop: 2 :hearts: 6 :diamonds: 10 :hearts: (pot = $35) Hero checks Villian1 checks Villian2 checks turn: 10 :spades: Hero checks Villian1 bets $25 Villian2 calls Hero ? Of course I have the worst hand but a move here might be able to take down the pot. I figure that Villian1 is betting the turn with high cards or maybe 99 or 88. He doesn't have much and isn't calling a reraise. Villian2 on the other hand is who I need to worry about. Villian1's bet makes little to no sense and Villian2 must know it. He could easily be calling with air or a small pair planning on bluffing the river. I am pretty sure Villian2 would've bet the checked flop if he had anything. Unless he is slow playing a set. Since I have a tight table image betting here would have to be credited with a 10. Anyway, I think a bluff here stands a good chance. Also, I believe I Villian2 will either have a monster or nothing at all. What is a good size? I say $50 on top. thoughts? |

are you sure villain1 wasn't hoping to check-raise on the flop, knowing villain2 is LAG and would probably bet?
edit: I only said that because it wasn't included in your line of thought. I still think this is a good spot to make a play, and your thinking is otherwise sound. |

Villian may be planning on check raising the flop. However, I think he would lead with an over pair or A10. Even if he had JJ-AA there is a good chance he is folding to my represented trips
