Default Pre-Registration (And Registration deadlines)

I am planning on playing the June 29th event and was hoping to pre-register. But I don't see a way to on the site.

My plane gets in at 10:00 am so I'll be cutting it close.

Does anyone know what the rules are for when registration closes, if they get long lines, if I can pre-register, etc.?

Thanks!

The deadline for pre-registering for the June 29 event with a check has passed.

If you want to pre-register now for the June 29th event, you will have to wire in your money.

With that said, there is virtually no chance that the event for June 29 will be sold out because that event, a $1500 LIMIT event, will not be televised.

Remember that you need to be in 3 separate lines in order to complete all paperwork required to register for your first WSOP event:

Line 1. Get a Harrah's Total Rewards tracking card if you don't already have one.

Line 2. Get a WSOP Player ID Card after you have signed the image rights release form for Harrah's and ESPN.

Line 3. Buy-in at the cashier's cage.

I don't believe you will be able to complete all 3 tasks prior to the 1pm cutoff for late registration if you plane were to land at 10am, meaning that you won't be at the Rio until 11am at the earliest if you have checked luggage.

Thanks do you know how I do that?

-- Might or might not be relevant.
I called the Rio cage to day to wire money down for the trip, she said I could not because I am not an established patron (at least one year).
I do have a Casino Host (only as a result of a phone call) who I will be calling Thursday (she's out until then).

I have ALWAYS in the past wired down money to gamble but that was at NYNY and Bellagio. which is where I used to stay.

OK sent in wire (June 23rd).

Also sent in Pre-Registration form (I already have a Rewards Card Number).

Now what? I tried calling the hot-line but the message box was full AND they said they would get back to me in 72 hours! I'll be playing then (I hope).

I see now the pre-registration ends 2 weeks prior to the event (I might have been nice to mention that on the pre-registration form!!!!)
So should my deposit still be there? [I didn't see anything about wire transfers having to go out 2 weeks early)

Oh and my flight arrives at 8:24 AM, not 10AM as I previously thought. Hopefully that will give me enough time??

One change for this year: your Harrah's Total Rewards Card is your WSOP player ID card.

That means Harrah's now has a single database to track every WSOP player's action in the casino, poker-related or not.

You need to go to the Will Call window in the hallway by the restroom once you get into town to see whether your registration has been processed.
