Total Light Control
I have a serious projector system in my appt. The picture is magnificent, but in the day, just the smallest amount of bleeding light makes it suck balls. I have blackout cloth behind the current drapes which ran me about $250, and still it doesn’t do the trick. Light bleeds at the top and bottom and in between a few slits in the blackout cloth.
I’m looking for a more serious solution. Budget is 2K. This is important to me. Parameters: I spend a vast amount of time inside my appt, and I don’t need to be able to lookout. My view sucks, just the way I like it. I keep my blinds closed most of the time. However, it does get hot sometimes…. Those times, and when I am cooking, I will need to have the windows open. I’m looking for total light control (these are the only windows) with the ability to open my windows occasionally. It’s ok if it’s kind of a pain to do. I guess I’ll start with google and hometheaterforum, but if anyone here knows or has used a custom solution and has any ideas or recommendations, I’d appreciate it. Ya nigga beetz.

What is that awesome shiny thing on the right? It looks... awesome.
Wouldn't this just be solved by getting blackout shades and mounting them like 3-5 inches above the window and maybe like 3 inches wider than the window as well?
