Default The Brazil vs Australia Thread

Now here's a game I'm looking forward to. Brazil sucked first game adn they know it, so they'll get their [censored] together and Australia were praised for their fighting spirit last game.

I'm thinking 3-1 Brazil with some very sexy play throughout.

Australia looked like dead men walking for 80 minutes. The final result is incredibly deceptive.

Brazil will take it, though they should bench Ronaldo.

Did I watch a different game, we had 60% possession in the first half and looked good through out, but I don't know [censored] about soccer and I know 150% about being Australian.

15002 posts, hope ur 15000 was good.

I thought aus were pretty weak too, Japan had much better set-ups but just didn't finish on them. Could ahve easily been 3-3, though aus wouldn't ahve scored in that case, so 3-0.

I can't help but think the press are hyping this to be bigger than it is. The Aussie comeback was great (typical of them TBH, much as I hate to say it) but it did mask an average performance. I personally thought that Japan were a better organised side who's superior professionalism was going to take them through 1-0.

Brazil should stroll this by 2+ goals , scoring early onbut if they don't and it does get close I wouldn't write off the Aussies, especially given Brazils poor first game.

I had money on the Aussies so I'm certainly not biased. Part of posession was the fact that Japan had a lead. But there were almost no scoring opportunities at all until the flurry at the end.
