Default 3rd monitor question

I have a Geforce card in my computer with dual monitor outputs and I currently am using them and running dual monitors. However, I want to add a 3rd monitor and am not sure how to do it. There is onboard video on the motherboard, would I be able to use that? And if I need another videocard do I need to replace my current one with a card that supports more than 2 monitors or can I just add another videocard along with the one I already have? Thanks.

Default Re: 3rd monitor question

You can use the onboard video if it's DVI compatible, which I doubt it is. You could get a SVGA->DVI converter dongle, but that causes pixelation and polygon fragments at times.

Make sure you enable the onboard video in the BIOS if you go with that.
