I think I'd raise here. Maybe flat call a bet on the river.
Maybe MP3 has you beat, but he can just as well have AQ/AK.

preflop is fine. the guy opened from mp3, i like taking control of the hand pf on the button with a pretty good hand in AJo.

3 bet the turn. your line looks like a big pair and his looks like a big ace so far so surprise him and give him another sign that hes beat.

I would just call and then call the bet he's going to put into you on the river. I don't like that T out there seeing as that's one of the most common cards in a straight. Trips are unlikely (but aren't they always). I'd say my two pair is a bit volatile to raise. I've shown my agression on the flop and he comes back at me on the turn. Raising won't shoo him away. There's already $10.75 in the pot on the turn. Call then call.

This is a case where I like to work off a physical (showdown) read of what he's played a certain way before. After 50 hands with him playing barely any you may not have that, of course.

AK - 8 combos, AQ - 8 combos, KK - 6 combos, QQ - 6 combos. 28.

KQ (the big one) - 16 combos, AA - 1 combo, JJ - 1 combo, TT, 4 combos. 22. I'm not counting 89 because of the preflop action.

These numbers may be wrong. Even though there are more combos that we beat, I'm often calling down due to the strength of his play here. He leads into the preflop 3bettor, calls a raise and checkraises the turn. He could be doing this with a strong made hand on the flop.

Now if a J hits on the river you jump ahead of a ton of hands (except AA) and if an A hits you jump ahead of them all except another AJ, so river one of those and go nuts.

I called the turn raise and then called down on the river to be shown KQ.

It seems that at 1/2 a turn check raise nearly always means what it says but I suppose he could easily have had a worse 2 pair so folding would be out of the question.

I wasn't too sure about KQ because I can't imagine why he leads that hand on the flop, but he's apparently highly aggressive after the flop. I missed AT in my evaluation of hands you beat above. Still, like I said, it's a very strong play he makes in the context of your aggression. Calldown good.

reraises... He could have spiked his ace with AK, AQ. Only hands that beat you here is AA, JJ, or TT. If he were to cap, I'd just call a bet on the river.

EDIT: I must be an idiot not to see KQ there... my bad. I still think I reraise though. If he capped, I'd pray for one of my 4 outs on the river.

I don't see anything wrong with preflop.

I would thing you would have heard a little bit more from AA, but KQ isn't out of the question. I would guess AK is more likely and 3-bet the turn. That's proably a major spew. If he caps, it's a river call.

I 3bet AJo vs MP3 raises very often, and 50 hands isn't enough for me to think his range is small enough to not do so

just calldown UI, raise if you hit a A, J
