Default Rakeback on Hollywood

So, I've been thinking that I'd like to start doing the big monthly Hollywood Poker bonuses (with rakeback obviously) but I first opened my account there about 5 weeks before they started offering rakeback.

Obviously these bonuses would not really be worth it, given the slow clearance rate, without rakeback (which now is like 30% at Hollywood). Is there anything I can do? Delete my account and start a new one? Can I just start a new one? Should I open an account in my father's name? Is it even worth it? Thanks

Not worth it.

Bonuses are deducted from rakeback anyway.
Furthermore, it is contributed rakeback. So unless you are playing heads-up it probably is not worth it.

Eurobet and BetonBet are alternative Ongame skins with rakeback.

Couple of common misconceptions regarding bonuses and rakeback.

1) Bonuses are not deducted from rakeback but in fcat they are deducted from rake.
So if you are on 30% rakeback with hollywood and you clear the $1000 bonus (whilst raking $2500 for example), you get 30% rakeback on the $2500-$1000 or ($1500). So you get $450 in rakeback

2)It is always better to have bonuses + rakeback than just rakeback even if they are deduted from rake
Usinng the example above let us consider the two scenarios, one where you get just rakeback and secondly where you get bonus and rakeback.

a)Just rakeback
You rake $2500 - you get 30% rakeback or $750 -
Total profit: $750
Effective total return rate = 30%

b) Bonus and rakeback
You rake $2500 - you get $1000 in bonus
You net MGR is $1500 and you get 30% rakeback or $750
Total return is $750 and $1000 = $1500
Effective total return rate = 60%

Rakeback+Bonus is always better than just rakeback

Kind regards

So, is there any way for me to open a new account/delete my old account so that I can get rakeback at Hollywood Poker?

I would be willing to do that (and would probably do it through RakeTheRake since that's where I've done rakeback in the past). I'm just not likely to play at Hollywood w/out the bonus + rakeback, I will, however, if I can get rakeback.

The only problem is u can't use BW's superbonus if you get rakeback. Lets say you want to clear bw's $200 5x bonus. It will take about $142 in noncontributed rake at fullring. This equates to 140.8% rake return. Hence one has to decide if the rakeback return for reload bonuses which one may or may not take part in is worth the sacrifice in immediate EV...
