Default Rate my fantasy baseball trade for Pujols

12 team ROTO league 7x7. Offensive categories: R, H, HR, RBI, SB, K, OPS. Pitching categories: W, CG, SV, HR, K, ERA, WHIP.

I traded Jim Thome and Javier Vazquez for Albert Pujols and Dontrelle Willis.

After the trade goes through, offensively I'm starting: R. Paulino (C), Giambi (1B), Castillo (2B), Youkilis (3B), Rollins (SS), Abreu (OF), Miggy Cabrera (OF), Marcus Thames (OF), Frank Thomas (Util), with Edmonds, Hawpe, and Milledge on my bench until Pujols returns.

After the trade goes through, pitching-wise I'm starting: Bonderman, Sabathia, Liriano, Willis, and Patterson with Blanton and Snell on my bench.

To those who are saying "somewhat worse", could you explain your opinion a bit? Do you think that Pujol's injury will keep him out for too long to recoup the time missed by Thome? Do you think Thome is flat out better than Pujols from today moving forward until the end of this season? Do you think Vazquez is a better pitcher than Dontrelle from today moving forward until the end of this season?

Does anybody have anything to say about why they do or do not like the deal?

As long as Pujols isn't out too ridiculously long it looks good for you.

When healthy, Pujols is the best fantasy player in the game. The fact that you get Willis "thrown in" makes the deal a grand slam in your favor. If you didn't get Willis, it would have only been a three run shot.
