Default An excellent story about a born gambler...

Found this little gem on http://taopoker.blogspot.com/ The guy who's blog it is (Pauly) wrote out his life story, it's a crazy journey of gambling, drugs and poker. Scroll down, the first entry in the series is May 28th.

My fav part is the description of playing liars poker for thousands of dollars on the floor od the New York stock exchange.

How is it done? Is it just a straight up bet and whoever has the best hand wins or is there betting until someone folds or call for showdown? Is it no limit?

Edit: btw, thanks for posting this. Pauly has been promising/threatening to do his life story for so long I'd forgotten he ever mentioned it.

i've met Pauly at Poker Blogger events -

every bit the degenerate he appears to read like - LOL - great guy - disappointed I don't get a chance to run into him outside of the Poker Blogger get togethers -

def. worth a read - he also gives killer tourney updates - my fav. updates during the WSOP were the "top 5 pros I stood next to in the urinal"
