Double Your Hourly Rate Challenge (LC)

Not many of you know me, but a lot of you have me helped from this board in the year and a half I have been playing SNGs.

Anyway I am a pharmacy student and am going to be starting rotations in the fall. I have a goal to not take out any loans for the $31000 tuition. However I am going to be working 40 hours a week for rotations this whole time. Hence my challenge:

I wish to double my hourly earn rate at SNGs by any means necessary in one month as measured by the next 3 months after July 15.

I'm hoping some people may want to try this with me. If you want to try just post where you're at and most importantly what things you believe can help you get to your goal and how you're gonna do it.

Right now I 7-8 table continuously the speed 55s, 77s, and 109s. My ROI is approximately 15%, 15%, and 10% respectively(can't wait for RVG's SNG Tracker v 2.0). My hourly rate is currently about $125/hour.

What I need to get to my goal in no particular order:

1. Party Unmentionable
2. Need to get to 10-12 table continuously
3. Move up to at least half 215s during peak hours
4. Learn to identify Push and Call ranges better
5. SNGPT
6. Post-flop skills
7. Playing a Microstack without folding equity (Very underrated skill which is not discussed enough on this board IMHO)

How I'm going to do these things:

1.Find it and go through the hoops
2.Practice at low limits with the quick decisions, Find any software or hardware that can make this easier
3.Easiest one IMO. I have the bankroll already from being the slowest person to move up in stakes. Mostly mental preparation for having $2000 on my screen at one time.
4.Hardest one IMO. Go through hand histories I have with regulars and try to watch the endgames from their perspective in hands which they showdown.
5.Study 1 hour everyday until I can get within 0.2% on every scenario in a split second
6. Post and respond to hands for 30 minutes everyday on 2+2
7. Post at least 1 hand everyday and hope to generate some discussion

I think I'm gonna start a blog to keep anybody who wants to know updated on my progress

I didn't know that you played so high...so I assumed you goal was to go from like $15/hour at the $16s to $30/hour... [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

and I was even going to say that that won't be too easy to do in one month

The best way to make that much is to learn some no limit ring.

Seriously though I know my chances of actually acheiving this challenge are less than 50%. I am the kind of person that needs to set ambitous goals
