Default AK hand on monotone flop - what do you do in these situations?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($113.47)
BB ($37)
UTG ($45.25)
MP ($48.88)
Hero ($55)
Button ($67.07)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls $0.50, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2.5</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, BB calls $2, MP folds.

Flop: ($5.75) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $8</font>, Hero calls $4.

Turn: ($21.75) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $4</font>, Hero calls $4.

River: ($29.75) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB calls $22.50 (All-In), Hero folds.

Final Pot: $52.25

...I still have no idea what these retarded check-minraises mean. I was hoping for a cheap showdown if another [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] didn't come but he pushed the river. Comments on the flop and turn appreciated [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

just fold the flop. your hand can't take any heat and it's almost definitely coming. while he'll happily donk the flop and river to lure you along, he's pushing the river a lot.

one thing about these [censored] minraises is that they very effectively build pots to set up callable pushes. notice his river bet is barely 2/3 pot, and if he had bet just $6 more on the turn, you'd be facing a call of only $16.50 to win almost 60...

sometimes you fold the best hand here but i'm usually content with that - it's difficult to figure out where you stand while losing the least to better hands and making the most from worse ones. the pot is not big enough yet to want to protect your investment, you have no redraws, etc....

I agree, fold the flop. I used to try to get these to showdown, but after getting shown 7d5d enough times I decided it's just better to throw away TPTK to a flop minraise on boards like these.

I would fold on flop.

I mean, after he check raises u, u have no ideia of where u are. and im pretty sure that 3betting or calling wont help.
