I approve. I like it even more if the turn is a blank.

AJ or AQ maybe, but I don't see a solid LAG showing down that.

Are you suggesting a turn check/fold?

i like the line. and the answer is a lot. if he is truly lag he will float you here plenty of times and you win his bet + pot which is pretty good. if he calls you could still be ahead, and if you're not i bet you didn't lose more than any other line would have you lose.

What do you lose to besides QQ/JJ?

If he were a tight player, we could safely narrow his range to maybe JJ+, and then maybe we can worry. But for a LAG, he could have a good mix of hands. Yes, usually he's pretty strong but he could have something marginal here way often enough for me to love my hand.

Betting the flop and checking the turn is a GREAT line. Especially if the turn were like the 2c, he'd be bound to hang himself with a lot of hands and may bluff at you with a lot of other hands. If he checks behind you can get value on the river from many, many hands.

66 or 77 which could be played for that preflop raise since both stacks are deep.
