Default Why doesn\'t McDonald\'s have bacon?

I saw the other Fast Food thread (best dollar menu item = rodeo cheeseburger or jr bacon cheeseburger) and it reminded me of something I noticed a while ago - McDonald's does not have any burgers with bacon on them. It's not even an additional option. (A few years ago, they did have the McBLT, which was pretty good). Why is this? Every other fast food burger chain has some type of bacon burger (Burger King, Wendy's, Hardees, Sonics, White Castle, Jack in the Box, etc).

Is it because McDonald's is controlled by Arab terrorists?!?!?!??!

We can get bacon in Illinois....did you ask for it or just assume you couldnt get it?

Also...how do you make a bacon, egg and cheese with no bacon? Isnt that like the stock breakfast sandwich at McD's?
