Default WSOP SAT near the bubble a8s

PS $650 WSOP Sat. pays 25 spots 28 players left.

Hero is 28th with 4XBB.

Hero has not played a hand since folding AQ on the button. He is in dead last, but two other stacks are also < 10XBB.
Would you be consistent and fold here?

Folded to hero in the CO w/ A8s?? BB has 12XBB. SB has 70XBB; Button has 29XBB and probably won't be interested in playing.

Thanks La Brujita,

I folded the AQ, folded the TT, and pushed this. SB/bigstack called with AK IGNH. Two other players go out in the same hand, the bubble starts as I leave.

In a normal tourney it's worth a push, but in a qualifier, I'd fold & hope to limp into a seat. At best you are 50% & more than likely dominated by any caller

Is this a $650 sat for a WSOP seat or a sat for a $650 satellite entry? It would make some difference as to the play.

You say someone else went out on this hand. If you think you can fold in, fold in. My guess is that as short stack you cannot fold in.

As last place, I am pushing practically any two if psassed to me on CO. You need to steal chips in late position. A8s is as good a hand to push with as any. You are probably about a 2-1 dog if called, but you are not much better or worse off with A8s than any other hands, except for a premium hand or junk like 62o.

with 4BB's... man thats tough. id flip a coin to be honest, its that close. the question you need to be asking is will the blinds add enough equity to my stack that it offsets the possibility of going broke. in this specific hand, i would have layed, and waited for better opp.

What better opportunity are you going to get? You are not going to get a better blinds stealing opportunity. Are you witing for QQ-AA?

Your real choice is to steal or try to fold your way in.
