I don't know if I'm right here, but first thing that sticks out to me is I wouldn't limp KQ UTG. Too much of a possiblity of gettting raised or put in a spot like this post-flop.

Check the turn, evaluate a shove if re-raised.

As played, you have him covered, so just check and hope he checks it down. If he comes out blazing, shut it down and pat yourself on the back for saving some chips.

Remember that this early, the chips you lose have a great deal more value than the chips you win.

Either raise to 250 preflop or fold. Limping is the worst of the 3 options.

If you raise KQ UTG at a full table what would you limp? Nothing?

Checking the turn is horrible, if anything he should have bet more on the turn, not less. Hero has every reason to believe that he is ahead with ttp. Checking just allows button a free look if he's on a draw.

This is a fundamental theorem of poker hand, you gotta just keep betting enough to make it incorrect for him to draw. I gotta think that the button is going to raise with AK, AQ, (maybe AJ) and those are the only hands you are really afraid of unless he played some wierd 9. Either way he is probably chasing a gutshot. You've got extra chips, if you lose this hand it's no big deal. If you lose, the guy is a moron for chasing a 4-outer.

Fold>>>>>>>Raise>Limp.

7 People left to act here. Someone needs to read up on the Gap Concept. As played I like your line on the flop and turn. I have absolutely no clue on what to do on the river though. Villain has 1560 behind and the pot is 2600. I've thought about it for about 10 minutes now and still no inspiration. I'd be interested to see peoples ideas though as I frequently find myself in this spot, and think I am crap at dealing with it.

I can understand raising if I am going to call a raise with KQ but I had no plan of doing so. I am dumping the hand if it gets raised.
