$100 live spread limit, how\'s my flop line?
2-2-4 blind structure full table.
Stack sizes were about: Button $88 SB $181 BB $60 UTG $900 Hero $250 MP $250 LP $250 CO $100 UTG is loose and lucky; Button, MP, and SB are solid; CO is an idiot (just last orbit called a good sized all in bet with 47o pre-flop). Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in EP. UTG limps, Hero limps, 2 folds, CO limps, Button raises to $15, SB calls, BB folds, UTG folds, Hero sees CO counting out the call and calls, CO calls. Flop ($64 post rake): K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, I bet $30, CO called, Button moved all-in for $73 total, SB calls $73, I re-raise to $173 total... So ignoring the loose limp preflop, how's the post flop play? |

Preflop is obviously whatever.
Bet more than 1/2 pot on the flop. If $173 is enough to put SB AI then that's good. Otherwise put him AI. |

[ QUOTE ]
If $173 is enough to put SB AI then that's good. Otherwise put him AI. [/ QUOTE ] $173 is the maximum bet for me there, as it is a raise of $100 which is the table limit bet amount [and also the maximum table buy in] (california pseudo-NL), but it is just barely enough to put SB all-in. Some people were suggesting an alternate line of flat calling the button all-in and waiting for the turn to bet $100 on non-diamonds and presumably check behind or fold on diamond turns since a likely SB hand was the diamond draw. |

I like it. I hope Button doesnt have KK though.
also, i dont care if CO and SB were both counting out their chips. this is a crazy preflop call. |

Re: $100 live spread limit, how\'s my flop line?
Result was CO folded, SB called the ~$93 more he had. Button didn't show but very likely had AK based on table talk and him showing his friend. SB had A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for the nut flush draw. I was a 2:1 favorite over SB when all the money went in, but SB had the pot-odds to call my last $100 raise. A diamond turn and brick river meant SB took the $499 pot.
