I came home for the weekend to visit my mother, and she has a mutt named Lady that is about the size of a golden retriver. She is WAY BIG on the verge of bursting with puppies. The last time was her first litter about 18 months ago, she had NINE Puppies She is only about 3 1/2 years old this is her 2nd litter.
Tonight she has taken her Queen size comforter that is usally folded to 1/4 the size and has started to shread the hell out of it, maked a big pile of polyester on the floor and is laying in the middle of it panting up a storm, my mother keeps her house at 70degrees year round, No More, No Less. Is this the natural instinct of Nesting? How long away do you estimate these puppies are? I have a friend that lives on the same street as my mother's house that works at the vet's office but she is at the movies now, and has the Cell Phone off. I am so nervous, and my dog is pissed because he is in the garage. Please Help with any advice! |
