Default Flopped flush, turn play too fancy? 1-2 PP 6-max

Preflop I think the call is fine because I could tell it was going to be a decent sized pot due to the limpers. I led the flop because I thought I would get some callers from the limpers and CO was in last position so if he raises I can make it 3 bets and really charge the draws. I decided to check-raise the turn because I put the CO (who raised pf) on an ace, king, and probably the ace of diamonds. What I want to know was was this c/r on turn a good idea? and did it get me the most money?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5, 4.
UTG calls, MP calls, CO raises</font>, 2 folds</font>, Hero calls, UTG calls, MP calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) K, 2, 6 (4 players)</font>
Hero bets</font>, UTG folds, MP folds, CO raises</font>, Hero 3-bets</font>, CO calls.

Turn: (7.25 BB) A (2 players)</font>
Hero checks, CO bets</font>, Hero raises</font>, CO folds.

Final Pot: 10.25 BB

well it didn't get you the most money, but its a fine play. Many players will call here and then again on the river... in this situation probably just betting out would have got you another bet, as he might have called the river bet as well. However, you have no idea what he would have done obviously.

Fine play, not too much discussion here.

Just bet the turn. Don't get fancy.

Preflop is good.

Flop: I Like you thought process.

Turn: I would bet hoping to get raised so I can 3-bet

That's a good point Erik, if I'm putting the villain on a pair of aces with the ace of diamonds I should just bet. This ensures a bet goes in and gives the possibility of a three bet. I like it, thanks.

It doesn't matter what dropped, just bet the turn every single time.
