Anyone have any idea of what would be the most profitable way for me to gamble in Las Vegas? I am going to most likely be staying out of the poker room out of "respect" for the others who will be with me ..
So what should I play? I have never gone before not really sure what to expect but hopefully will win something.. Yes I'm going to try anything but what game has the best odds of me making some actual money Its my first trip so Im new to alot of the games but I learn quick |

Q: What's the best way to leave Vegas with a small fortune? A: Arrive there with a big one! Wakka wakka wakka! ![]() -Sam |

Best odds are video poker or blackjack (with counting) IMO.

When you consider number of trials per hour x minimum wager x EV ... sometimes Keno is your best bet. There a lot of factors.

From OP -
"... staying out of the poker room ..." "I have never gone before ... " "Its my first trip so Im new to alot of the games ..." "Yes I'm going to try anything..." I don't think you can learn to play a winning game that fast -- sometimes accepting minimal losses makes sense. |

I think Vegas still has a few quarter machines that are +EV with correct strategy. Variance is very high though, especially 10/7 double bonus. |

If you go to Vegas for the first time (to have a good time) but sit there grinding away at the only double-double bonus video machine in the corner of some crappy hotel, trying to earn "Player Points" to get a pleather jacket with that hotel's name on it, I officially ban you from ever going back to Vegas a 2nd time.
