Haven't seen this posted yet. According to this WSOP and ESPN deal the main event will broadcast via a pay-per-view format.
Hopefully they don't screw this up, I would love to see every hand at the final table. |

What do you think they would try to charge for this?

It's going to be $24.95, according to the PR at http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060609/20060609005125.html?.v=1
I'm sure the various big name professionals out there are going to be asking for their cut of the action, as they should. Here's the press release regarding the WSOP/Milwaukee's Best deal: http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060609/20060609005270.html?.v=1 |

So I guess there'd be like a 10-20 min delay right? What about commentary? Would this be megaboring? The "live" events we've seen so far have been pretty good I think (Turning Stone, the Full Tilt 20k one) but they have featured talented, fun-to-watch players with a fair amount of chips for some interesting play.

If this is live and shows all the hands I could see it being successfull. Though if it's like 12 hours long I dunno.

![]() I'm guessing they will have commentary but won't show the hands, just like the Cardplayer audio from last year. Also, Bluff will be doing something similar on Sirius satellite radio this year. I would totally pay $25 for this if I can Tivo it and watch when time permits. But I've never tried to Tivo something on pay per view, and it would use an awful lot of disk space in any case. |

As cool as it sounds, it would be very hard to order this for 25 bucks if the final table is a bunch of nobodies. I would probably order aslong as there's is 1 pro/name.

If they do broadcast their hole cards, this could be very good for poker, show the "boring" hands that I personally want to see |

It'll be just like Live@TheBike. A bunch of nobodies playing, and we'll see every hand.
