Default How to play the Flopped Straight

I flopped the straight and bet 1/2 pot (giving 3-to-1) on the flop and turn (giving 3-to-1).

Should I be pushing harder?

Use a converter or at least formet the hand yourself so it's easier to read.

1. Pot the flop. You don't have huge redraws, but a K gives you broadway and you have a backdoor club draw. It's enough to make you about a 20% favorite over a bare 9T.

2. Pot the turn. He's not making a huge mistake calling this bet if you'll call $7 with the straight when the river pairs the board. You've also opened up a pretty big redraw in clubs and should win 30% of the time on the river against a bare straight. Lots of players will wait until the turn before getting it in with no redraws and you can catch them with their pants down.

You basically gave him odds to chase the whole way. Either PSB flop and 2/3rds + PSB Turn, or check flop and PSB turn, but betting 1/2 pot on both streets allows him to make a tiny valuebet on the river (which you probably should call) and make up for the slight odds errors he made on previous streets.
