Default Call or Fold?

4/180 on stars. 25/50 however will be 50/100 within 1 min so it will be moving time. You are on the button with 55 with 900 chips left. Seat 4 moves in for 1200, seat 5 calls. Both have you covered. Do you take a high risk triple up?

What is your move?

fold, against 1 player, maybe, against two and you are a huge dog, unless they both have AK

You're risking 800 chips to win 1850, so you're getting 2.3-1 odds and need to be 30% to win the hand. I think it'd be tough to find ranges for villains such that you have that good a chance to win.

What would you consider a minimum for pot odds to warrant a call here? 4-1?

unless i had an m of under 5 i'll fold a low pocket like this against one all in let alone two. in your case the range of the first guy is probably 66+, Aj+ maybe KQ (or thats the range it should be). the second all in has to be tt+ AQ+. i think tt and jj are questionable calls but in anycase youre most likely a 10% chance of winning against there ranges

Probably something like 5-1 in case I'm against higher pairs or something ridiculous.

Here's a pokerstove with some completely arbitrary ranges that probably still serve our purpose:

Text results appended to pokerstove.txt

55,087,861,752 games 129.437 secs 425,595,940 games/sec

Board:
Dead:

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 24.7278 % 24.61% 00.12% { 55 }
Hand 2: 37.6361 % 36.26% 01.38% { 88+, ATs+, KJs+, AQo+ }
Hand 3: 37.6361 % 36.26% 01.38% { 88+, ATs+, KJs+, AQo+ }

---

I gotta say I was surprised by that outcome. So by that we need 3-1 to be breakeven. Meh. I'd probably still fold unless there was a nicer overlay, around 4-1, but thats probably not gonna happen often when you're only against 2 other players.
