Simple hand, need better turn line

I dont like how I played the turn when i hit on this hand. Hand before this I stacked the 3rd player at this table with nut straight with 910o. Villain is a semidonk who bought for 1k. He has played passively against me thus far in our blind v. blind situations and i have won most of those with post flop bets in limped pots. He hasnt played back at me thus far, so this is a first.
I want to hear if the best line is to 3 bet the flop, and if so, to how much. If you lead the turn here give me a justification of why it is better than a check raise, and if you check raise give me an amount. I feel like the way I played it just declares my hand and gives villain an easy fold when hes drawing dead <the turn brought a flush draw and that influenced the size of my raise but i think im just a bitch to have that scare me since he would have to be on Jdxd>

Hi James,

I wouldn't 3-bet the flop against a min-raise, and I'd play it just like you have so far, though I might c'r even more, given that I think the flop min-raise is pretty strong from him. If he was strong on the flop (more than TP), I don't think he'll fold here for even 400 more, and if he calls that, he's gonna have a hard time getting away from it for the rest of his chips on the river. I generally think that min-raise on that board (fairly dry w/ no pf raiser) is either super-strong or a draw. Since the only real draw is what you're holding, I'd play it assuming I'm up against a super-strong hand, and be willing to accept that I'm not going to get paid much if he doesn't have one.
