Push pf. As played I check-raise all-in on the flop if I think he will c-bet.

Re: 11 SNG: AK played badly on all streets?
I think the turn call is way worse than the preflop call.
Given the call preflop, I would have check-raised all-in on the flop. Given the call on the flop, I would have shoved the turn. |

Re: 11 SNG: AK played badly on all streets?
Push PF. Button's range should be huge and you're way ahead of it. You'll either take down over 600 chips right there or get all-in with an excellent hand. As played, I like a CR all-in on the flop, you're hand is still huge and you still will have FE.

Yeh the postflop calls are pretty terrible. Mosdef you would agree is it better to push pf against a button raise though yes?

Yeh the postflop calls are pretty terrible. Mosdef you would agree is it better to push pf against a button raise though yes? [/ QUOTE ] That is certainly simpler and undoubtably +EV, but it's not a disaster to play this one heads up. If the button has total garbage then he's not going to call a preflop all-in anyway. The question is: can you get more chips out of him by calling preflop and check-calling his bluffs the rest of the way? Or is he just going to check/fold after the flop anyway unless he picks up a lucky two pair? If the villain is the type to keep firing at pots with nothing then you will have a decent chance of extracting more chips from him. Of course this is a dangerous game since you run the risk of getting beat by a lucky weaker (preflop) hand. There are similar pros/cons when the villain has an actual decent hand. Will he call your all-in with Ax? Or are you better off stringing along a weak Ax who won't be able to get away from a flop with an A but who will fold to your preflop push? If he has a PP will he fold to your push or call? If you've got any reads it could actually make a difference I suppose. Personally I think that a lot of these players at the 11s just can't stop bluffing so there can be a lot of value in keeping them in the hand to make more misguided bets on the flop, turn, and river. In this case I would lean towards your suggestion of a preflop push since playing OOP is not that much fun and a flop bet from villain is a virtual certainty. |

Push pre. Hope he folds. Dont let him outflop you with any 2. If he was Sb with same stack and raise, i dont mind a call since you have position.

I think you said it all in your subject. It's pretty awful.

Re: 11 SNG: AK played badly on all streets?
1.) Convert this to 2p2 format you are not posting at trashy ftr :-D.
2.) Since you have the bigger stack and are out of position I place a re-raise in here. As played I would not have been so passive and would have bet out or re-raised all in you are j ust spewing chips. |

Re: 11 SNG: AK played badly on all streets?
Why are you check calling? That is how bad plyrs pay my bills. Play with some aggression. You missed multiple shove oppotunities and put yourself in position to lose a big pot that you could have won on 3 diff opp.s. There are so many diff bad elements to this particular hand. Stop playing so tight/scared and put in some raises occasionally.
