Default OT: *Official** World Cup Side Bets?

The greatest sporting event in the world is upon us.

So, who wants some action?

I have Holland to win at 9-1 for 20 bucks!

If anyone wants to bet on Italy I will gladly take any bet that has them failing to pass to the 2nd round. (Karma)

How closely have you been able to follow the European teams the lastest month in Cndaaa?

A month ago I would've said that 9-1 was a very good bet. Since then everything has gone downhill for the Dutch.

First, their coach (former star Marco Van Basten) had a gigantic brain fart when chosing the 23 players for the WC. He actually left out three of the very best Dutch players: McKay, Davids and McKay

Secondly, a week ago Holland played a warm-up against Australia which played like it was for their lifes. Three important Dutch players (Van Bommel is the only one I remember on top of my head) were injured. I'm not sure how serious.

I'm serious when I say that I find Argentina and Ivery Coast the two favorites in the group now

Yo holland's biggest problem in the last, oh, 50 years, has been team chemistry. They all play as individuals and act like children because they are all either from psv or ajax, and they are all hotshot jerkoffs.

Van Basten has taken a chance with a lot of young talent and tried to form a more cohesive group. Edgar David's is a pompous, wife beating, steroid using, arrogant jerk. I'm glad he's not playing, I don't care how good he is.

I might take you on that, Ansky.

What odds are you giving on Italy? And I'll take another bet against Holland, 1:9, if you want.

So, what odds are you laying on Holland not advancing from the group?

If you think Edgar Davids is one of Hollands best players, you are very much mistaken. Did you see _any_ games he played for Spurs last season? Even the Spurs fans wanted him out he was so [censored]!

Really? Well, he were on of the best at least

I think I only saw two Spurs games this season and must admit that I don't particular remember him.

Nevertheless, reading through the Dutch roster do not impress me at all.
