Default Something Sexton said tonight on WPT

I wasn't watching the show, but I heard Sexton say about a David Williams request to see someone's cards (paraphrasing) "if you show one card, you have to show them both, that's a poker rule and David Williams knows it and took advantage of it."

Is Sexton confused on the "show one, show all" rule?

I've heard it used for both the cards or to mean all the players at the table.

Isn't it interesting how David Williams was the jerk who demanded to see both cards in the hand in this thread and the hand in that other thread?

Wow, I totally lost whatever small repect I had for David Williams. He's taking unfair advantage of the rule right there and I know for a fact if Daniel Negreanu was there, he'd reprimand him. I guess we're seeing the "true side" of David recently. Kind of sad because he's becoming the "old" Antonio Esfandiari.

As Raymer explained a week or so ago there are two rules. A show one show all and a show one show both. Sexton was refering to the later.

lol. i looked on the page for like five minutes for the 'official' thread. too bad it doesn't exist.

to the op,

who knows? who knows the freaking rules? nobody. there are no rules. people make them up as they go.

since it hasn't been said yet, wow, nam le is sick. i bet he wins a lot online.

also, maybe it was just me, but i had a real love/hate relationship with david williams on tonight's show. one second i think he's an ass and i hate him and the next i'm laughing my ass off when he calls the french man's all in with JT. i'm like, man i love him.

I kind of like David Williams but there was an AQoff suit vs AQoff suit hand where he raises Fabrice Soulier off the hand and Fabrice shows his hand and David shows his hand and says,"the kiddy game is down the street." The new Antonio he may be.
Btw Sexton and VVP are portraying Ravi like he is a local amateur...this guy is a very well known, very good cash and tournament player who gets staked to play in some tournaments.

Ravi looked awful in this episode. It's virtually impossible to push him off any draw and calling down with the 66 HU was terrible too.
